Neuro-Agility to improve Performance and Well-being

Neuro-Agility - An Approach To Improve Performance And Well-BeingStress is the brain’s greatest enemy. It is an obstacle to creativity, performance in general including all vital functions that leads forward. So how can we avoid this obstacle in an increasingly complex working life that continually taking up speed? Is it possible to improve performance and well-being at the same time? What about developing an achievement habit using a design thinking approach?

Neuro-agility

Stanford professor Bernhard Roth writes that the first question you should start from when beginning this journey towards more wellbeing and in favour of better performance etc. is: “What would it do for me if I solved this problem?” Since this question, both include the purpose and the goal(s) of the journey beyond boosting an achievement habit. Then how should you manage to accomplish this? The answer is neuro-agility.

Six driving-forces to improve Performance and Well-being

The neuroscience-expert Dr André Vermeulen mentioned in the earlier story that was referred to above identified the following six driving-forces to empower neuro-agility; brain fitness, stress-coping skills, sleep, movement, exercise, optimistic mindset and nutrition. He has also identified seven attributes of the neuro-agility framework that affect people’s unique learning ability and agility e.g. sensory preferences and rational-emotional preference. Vermeulen writes:

“This framework can be used to assess individual and overall organisational learning agility, to identify people’s learning potential and optimise their learning agility.”

The outcome is a neuroscience approach with the focus on,

“how to develop talent, improve performance and reduce the risk of human error”.

Here personalised learning is the key to success.
