500 schools and colleges in France will be digitalised during this year. This will mark the first stage of the digital plan for education, which means that more than 70,000 students and 8,000 teachers fully will be able to use the potential of digital tools for education. The Minister of Higher Education and Research, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem introduces the new policy as follows: “The digital revolution profoundly transformed all sectors of society. The school is particularly affected by this change which questions the traditional foundations of its organization and its teaching methods, but also of educational content.”.
