Generative AI has the ability to revolutionise the way we learn. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, we can create more engaging learning experiences that are tailored to the individual needs of each student. This is a part of a general transformation of formal education from a top-down to a bottom-up approach. Where skills-first according to Education 4.0 standards rules. However, equally important is that generative artificial intelligence also creates a new foundational subject field, namely:  generative AI literacy.

Generative Ai LiteracySince OpenAI made ChatGPT available to everybody millions of people have tried it and are using it continually. All the “initiated” views from the past from people that wanted their 15 minutes of fame and others that really know can now be tried out and used by everybody. As generative AI will continue to develop and as it is a powerful transformative force, not only how to use it, but also ethical implications and the immense impact on the society, should be a part of the Generative AI subject field. Or rather, that it should be integrated as part of general education.

Since the small chunks of knowledge subject fields of the Industrial Society are also transforming into project-based learning. Where generative AI in education has the potential of speeding up the development. Since the biggest problem is not that students are using generative AI to cheat on assessments, the main problem is that they actually can. That the assessments are not constructed according to the Digital Society’s prerequisites.  

This Digital Society where human skills are essential and not to be able like a robot to memorise and recite the encyclopaedia. For this artificial intelligence is better equipped, even to go much further beyond the scuffed covers of an encyclopaedia, 

How to use Generative AI to improve learning experiences

Generative AI can be used to create personalised learning experiences that are tailored to the individual needs of each student. AI can analyse a student’s learning style, interests, and abilities to create a unique learning experience. AI can also be used to generate personalised content that is tailored to the student’s learning style and interests. In this spirit it can also create personalised feedback as a part of the learning experience. 

Online learning has become increasingly popular in recent years, where the closedown of the society during the Covid-pandemic worked as a booster. As technology makes learning take leaps forward when it comes to efficiency, as a motivator and personalisation. It is no surprise that chatGPT has become a popular tool for a growing number of educators and students alike. In this part of the story, we will explore the benefits of chatGPT for online learning and how it can help students succeed.

ChatGPT provides a platform for students to ask questions and try ideas. This allows students to get immediate feedback from the AI, which can help them better understand the material and stay engaged in the learning process. 

Finally, chatGPT can help to reduce the amount of time spent on administrative tasks. By providing a platform for students to communicate, instructors can spend more time focusing on teaching and less time on administrative tasks and simple questions. This can help to improve the overall quality of the learning experience.
