The Norwegian government has is about to launch a math-teacher-training project that will run over five years. The goal is to improve the skills for 10 000 teachers and the main tool is new developed Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). With this method the government expects to train more people, the Minister of Education, Torbjørn Røe Isaksen says the following: “Our goal is to form a more decentralised teacher-training, and then it is necessary to use digital solutions.” Source: NRK
