The Nobel Museum in collaboration with Stockholm University and SICS Swedish ICT has introduced a new research project directed on use of mobile phones and apps. 1500 pupils from the age of 13 to 16 from approximately 30 schools will be a part of the project. After the summer the pupils will begin their research. They will interview mobile phone-users of all ages about their use. The answers will be collected in a database where the pupils then will make analysis of the result. This will in the next step lead to innovation where the pupils will brainstorm and come up with ideas for new apps. The group that has come up with the best idea will be participating in the Nobel Price Award ceremony in December as a reward. The main purpose of the project is to give the pupils the first review of research and the use of mobile technology. Source: Press Release SICS Swedish ICT
