“Informatics for All: The Strategy” is an ambitious plan to integrate informatics in education for all students in Europe. The plan is in its developing stage and is a collaboration of the Association for Computing Machinery’s ACM Europe Council and Informatics Europe. Where the main aims are to “enable all students to understand, participate in, influence and contribute to the development of the digital world in general”. To accomplish this, Informatics both should be integrated as an independent subject in school from the early years and to be a vital part of the students learning path through the school levels. At the same time as Informatics should also be a natural part of the teaching of all school subjects. Source: ScienceBusiness
