In April 2016 eLearningworld reported about the fast growing Chinese eBook-market with focus on a national survey from Chinese Academy of Press and Publication that showed that 64 percent of the adults in China read eBooks in 2015, which was an increase by 5.9 percentage points, while 58.4 percent read printed books, an increase with 0.4 percentage points. Shanghai Daily now reporting that the revenue of the eBook market reached US$1.4 billion annually in China. The most popular categories are sci-fi and fantasy novels, business management and healthcare books, according to a survey from iReader. Source: Shanghai Daily
