Australia’s federal research agency is announcing the opening of a new laboratory in Canberra, the Immersive Lab, with focus on developing augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and 3D web technologies. The Lab includes everything from wearable holographic computer devices to interactive mapping systems and loads of other tools for development of applications and further development of these technologies. Small and medium-size businesses are invited to partner with the lab in order to boost the development in collaboration with associated universities and authorities within these fields.
