Germans want more influence in their local communities according to a survey financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education. Federal Research Minister Johanna Wanka commented the result in the following way: “The city of the future can only function as a community project. The task now is to bring the ideas of scientists, the ideas of local people and stakeholders in the cities and communities together.
