Internet of things can be described as devices and applications that are interconnected in order to with help by different forms of sensors improve everyday life. Researchers at Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore have developed a sensor processor node that is able to intelligent sensing while using ultra-low levels of power. Xin Liu, a member of the research team explains: “Emerging IoT devices play a key role to support the Singapore Smart Nation initiative in a wide range of applications. Our research team aims to develop high energy efficiency hardware circuits and systems, to achieve high performance, artificial intelligence, high energy efficiency, and a high security level.” Source: Science Daily
