“Humans are underrated” is the title of a new book by the journalist Geoff Colvin, which focus on how robots taking over jobs that traditionally has been in the hands of humans. And in which fields humans still outperform robots. The title of the book gives a clue that these fields are many and important where the answer is targeted at the nature of humans. As technology development advances not only manufacturing work, but also data-processing- and analysing jobs will be done by computers. The author embraces this development and claim that there will be plenty of jobs for humans. Skills connected to emotional intelligence like empathy, creativity, social sensitivity, storytelling, humour, building relationships and leading are humans still superior to robots/computers and can continue being so, since technology will be what we want it to be.
