On the Hannover Messe the German government is launching the Joint Industry 4.0 platform that is a collaborative space for politics, industry, associations, academia and trade unions to embrace digitization of the economy. Industry 4.0 was launched 2011 and today the concept is the standard for the sustainable transformation of Germany’s industry. The purpose of the Joint Industry 4.0 is to be bridge where research is being put into practice in the form of workshops and other forms of events.
