The hightech company Ericsson has been recognized “Best corporate Citizen” in the technology, media and telecom category by the New Economy Magazine’s annual awards program. Ericsson is the lead technology partner in Connect to Learn initiative that is a collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute and Millennium Promise. The initiatives main focus is to increase young girls’ access to quality education. More than 40 000 students from South America, Africa and Asia participate. The main aim is to open a whole new world of knowledge and possibility for the underprivileged parts of the world. Source: News from Ericsson
