Latest News: Entrepreneur opens two new STEAM-schools

Ian Livingstone, one of the founders of Games Workshop, open 2 new free schools specialising in computer science, technology and the arts. This is a part of the UK government’s plan that 500 new free schools should be launched. Ian Livingstone that participated in revamping of UK computer science curriculum will open the Livingstone Academies in Tower Hamlets and Bournemouth. This will provide over 3000 children education directed on STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts and maths. The founder’s experience from the creative industries will form the foundation of the schools with focus on creative thinking and entrepreneurship, including ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competitions and start up mock companies.
