Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has just published an international research study, ‘The Internet of Things, Today and Tomorrow with 3100 executives from 20 countries that are answering questions about IoT. According to the result of the study, the executives expect IoT-technologies to get its final breakthrough in the year of 2019, in 85% of the companies’ the business plan involved in the study the use of IoT is included by then. In the companies already using IoT 80% believes that the technology is improving the business efficiency. The average ROI is 34%. At the same time as 84% sees major security problems with IoT. Morten Illum, VP of EMEA at Aruba concludes: “IoT isn’t just for the tech geeks, looking for a way to be constantly connected to the internet via data sharing.
