Imagine Digital – Connect Europe (ICT 2018) was the biggest event during the 
Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It took place December 4-6 in Vienna with more than 6300 participants from 120 countries. The discussion included EU funding within the framework programme Horizon 2020. Since 2014 it totally has funded ICT development projects with 75 billion euros. Where some of the focus-areas are active and assisted living and ehealth. Artificial Intelligence was one of the areas the gained the most attention. Another of the funded projects that received a lot of attention at the conference was a programme that helps journalists identify fake videos in social media.
