Sixteen projects to improve digital competence receive more funding from the Norwegian government. It is flexible courses adapted to the working life’s prerequisites. In total, the projects get €3.6 million, with the purpose to boost digital competence in the business sector. The total funding this year for such projects in Norway is €13 million. The Minister of Education Jan Tore Sanner comments in the following way:
“The technological development requires that both businesses and employees should renew their competence. Therefore we are adding this directly to universities, specialized schools and business to join forces to develop a more flexible further education offer that the business sector is demanding.”
